There have been some amendments that take the air carrier,s liability to $27.92 per kilogram. Either way with or without the amendments to the Warsaw Convention most international shipper´s would be under insured should they not request additional coverage for their goods.

Having your own "All Risk" coverage also eliminates the need to Declare a value on the airway bill and pay a much higher premium than all risk coverage with Benchmark. As with all liability coverage; the burden of proof that the carrier damaged the goods is on the shipper. This can be a frustrating and time consuming undertaking.
