Less than container load shipments are moved with a number of ocean freight carriers that are consolidators or NVOCC'S. NVOCC's are non vessel operating common carriers. We have the ability to move smaller shipments by LCL and take advantage of the larger NVOCC buy rates. They offer this service and generally have very large contracts directly with the steamship lines or vessel operators and they can offer these rates to shippers whose cargo lends itself to consolidation.

LCL can consist of only a couple of boxes to a few pallets of your product. We look not only for the best overall price, but the best service available to move your LCL cargo. LCL only pertains to dry, non-perishable cargo. Currently this option does not exist in the marketplace, but we are considering putting together an available LCL perishable service if we can generate enough interest to make a quality service available.
